Latest RSI stats released
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists say that both the Government and businesses need to do more to help protect employees from repetitive strain injuries (RSI).
Latest figures show that there are more than 200,000 RSI sufferers a year in the UK.
It is estimated that RSI costs UK business £300m a year - through absence, sick pay and administration.
The deputy director-general of the CBI, John Cridland, said, "Businesses take the wellbeing of their staff and the issue of RSI very seriously.
"… the focus should be on improving information and support on appropriate prevention strategies."
