Designed to help avoid RSI and give relief to RSI sufferers.
The Ergonomic Mouse has been designed to use vertically rather like a joystick. It has been specifically engineered to help avoid Repetitive Strain Injury and give relief to those already suffering. When using the Ergonomic Mouse (also known as Anir or Renaissance Mouse) the hand is positioned more naturally in the vertical position, and the 'rocker-style' mouse button on top falls naturally under the thumb. Rocking the thumb downwards produces the left mouse-click. Rocking upwards produces the right-click. The whole method of operation of the Ergonomic Vertical Mouse means that the upper arm is used and therefore the strain on the wrist and lower arm muscles is considerably reduced. This ergonomic mouse is an excellent companion to any of our range of ergonomic keyboards, for example the Goldtouch Adjustable Keyboard. Features: Uses upper-arm movement to reduce strain on lower arm Provides hand support saving skin abrasion Mouse click uses stronger thumb instead of fingers Available as black optical USB (large or small) or as white PS2 Easy installation - no driver necessary 3rd button on handle can enable scrolling in some applications Compatible with PC, Macintosh, and iMac computers with USB ports |
