Designed to help avoid RSI and give relief to RSI sufferers.

The Ergonomic Mouse has been designed to use vertically rather like a joystick. It has been specifically engineered to help avoid Repetitive Strain Injury and give relief to those already suffering.

When using the Ergonomic Mouse (also known as Anir or Renaissance Mouse) the hand is positioned more naturally in the vertical position, and the 'rocker-style' mouse button on top falls naturally under the thumb. Rocking the thumb downwards produces the left mouse-click. Rocking upwards produces the right-click.

The whole method of operation of the Ergonomic Vertical Mouse means that the upper arm is used and therefore the strain on the wrist and lower arm muscles is considerably reduced.

This ergonomic mouse is an excellent companion to any of our range of ergonomic keyboards, for example the Goldtouch Adjustable Keyboard.

Features:
Uses upper-arm movement to reduce strain on lower arm
Provides hand support saving skin abrasion
Mouse click uses stronger thumb instead of fingers
Available as black optical USB (large or small) or as white PS2
Easy installation - no driver necessary
3rd button on handle can enable scrolling in some applications
Compatible with PC, Macintosh, and iMac computers with USB ports

Just a note to say thank you for the prompt and efficient service. On Friday, I placed an order for a 3M ergonomic mouse and a lower case keyboard. I was very pleased when they arrived on Tuesday by courier.

I have been using the mouse all day today and I am very pleased with it.

Normally by now my fingers in my right hand would be hurting, but today they are fine!!! I also find it very easy to use and would recommend it to anyone. It is a lot of money to pay for a mouse.... but the benefit of having painless fingers is well worth it. Thank you very much.

I found this mouse gave my fingers releif (the click button is opearted by the thumb) but having used it for 18 months, I am now suffering further up my arm and in my shoulder. This mouse is great for those that suffer from finger joint pain but not convinsed that it is the long term answer to RSI
