SuperNova gives people with a vision impairment the freedom to access Windows in the way that suits them best. With minutely adjustable settings SuperNova can provide computer access to those with low vision to blind in a truly personal way. Ideal for individuals experiencing varying or deteriorating eye conditions, SuperNova is also indispensable in an institutional setting, such as school or work, where people with multiple types of vision impairment require solutions.
From the moment you insert the CD, SuperNova speaks through your computer's soundcard and talks you smoothly through the user friendly installation. The computer display is magnified so that you can see small detail more clearly and information is also presented in Braille for users of the many supported Braille devices.
Web pages are easier to navigate using SuperNova. Screen reading is fast, accurate and automatic. SuperNova also offers quick navigation keys, full spelling and attribute announcement, easy form filling, focus tracking and much more.
Magnification
SuperNova can magnify up to 60 times and the enlarged images have smooth, non-pixilated edges whatever the size and colour. You can choose to have full screen magnification or a floating screen as well as many multi-screen options. A wide range of colour settings are also available to overcome partial sight impairments.
Speech
Equally useful for blind and partially sighted users, the speech function is a beneficial alternative after repetitive reading. SuperNova’s wide range of settings enable users to choose a voice as well as adjusting the tone, intonation, volume and speed.
Braille
The full screen reader can cope with text and Braille input together with speech and Braille output.
Training Mode
Training mode is now included as standard.
