Hypertec has a range of warranty offerings for its products. As a hybrid value added distributor, we are a manufacturer and a distributor. For Hypertec products, Hypertec offers its own warranties and sets its warranty procedures. For distributed products, Hypertec implements the suppliers / manufacturers warranty measures, this is applicable for all Keytools products.

Warranty can be exercised by the End User or the Reseller and can be activated by contacting Hypertec technical support on technical@hypertec.co.uk, or by telephoning 0844 879 2282 and asking for technical support.

Software Products

Software warranty falls to the manufacturer of the software and arrangements are as per the software End User License Agreement (EULA). Software products are non returnable and will not form part of any stock rotation agreement.

Warranty Replacement/DOA Procedures

On identification of a DOA product, the following procedure should be employed:

Standard Warranty

Hypertec technical support should be contacted on 0844 879 2282 and the following information provided:

  1. Hypertec or Keytools Part code.
  2. Hypertec will then issue a warranty return number after conducting preliminary diagnostics.
  3. The customer reporting the warranty issue should then return the suspect product with the warranty number clearly marked on the packaging.
  4. Hypertec or keytools will then dispatch a replacement product.
  5. The returned product is then tested and the results collated against the warranty and call log entry.

Official Hypertec Memory Warranty Statement

Hypertec Limited warrants the hardware components of the product to be in good working order for the life of the product for memory products and the corresponding period for other product sets from the date of purchase of the product from Hypertec or an authorised Hypertec dealer. Should the hardware components of the product fail to be in good working order at any time within the warranty period, Hypertec will, at its option, repair or replace the product.

Repair parts and replacement products will be furnished on an exchange basis, and will be either reconditioned or new. All replaced parts will become the property of Hypertec.

This warranty applies only to the original registered end user purchaser of the product and does not include service to repair damage resulting from accident, disaster, misuse, abuse or non-Hypertec modification of the product.

Additional components installed by the dealer or end user are not covered by this warranty. Apart from the above, no warranty is expressed or implied, including warranty of merchantability or warranty of fitness for use for a particular purpose.

The liability of Hypertec is limited to the repair or replacement of the product with a functionally equivalent or better product. Hypertec is not liable for any accidental, general, special, exemplary or consequential damages resulting from any product failure, even if Hypertec has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
